The Levelogger 6 records highly accurate groundwater and surface water level and temperature measurements. It uses a Hastelloy® pressure sensor with an accuracy of ±0.05% full scale and automatic temperature compensation. The instrument is sealed in a compact 22 mm x 160 mm stainless steel housing with a corrosion-resistant coating and double O-ring seals for reliable long-term deployment.
The Levelogger 6 stores up to 150,000 sets of readings, with dedicated backup storage for the most recent 20,000 readings. Sampling can be configured using linear, event-based, or user-selectable schedules, with measurement intervals ranging from 1/8 second to 99 hours. The internal lithium battery is rated for approximately 10 years based on one reading per minute.
Levelogger Software allows users to program instruments, download and view data, perform barometric compensation, analyze minimum, maximum and average values, and export data for further processing. The Levelogger 6 can also communicate through USB, SDI-12 and MODBUS interfaces, with options for Bluetooth field access and remote telemetry.
Typical applications include aquifer characterization, stream and watershed monitoring, lake and reservoir management, wetlands and stormwater monitoring, tank level measurement, and long-term groundwater or surface water monitoring.
